Make It In America
MAKE IT IN AMERICA AGENDA
“I am proud to stand by my House Democratic colleagues in support of the Make It In America plan to promote American businesses, create jobs, and improve our economy. The Make It In America plan is a comprehensive agenda to create jobs in America that started in the last Congress under Democratic Leadership. President Obama has signed six Make It In America bills into law that have helped our recovering economy,” said Congresswoman Johnson. “As a Senior Member of the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee, I am especially supportive of enacting a fully funded, long term Surface Transportation Bill that will provide a modern transportation system for trade industry while creating jobs in the process. I am also proud to support the establishment of a National Infrastructure Development Bank to leverage private sector funds to invest in key nationwide infrastructure projects like transportation, energy development, and telecommunications improvements. I urge all members of the House of Representatives to support this plan because creating jobs is too important to be treated as a partisan issue in Washington.”
